RM Sotheby's Auction | November 25, 2023

The second Munich auction of our colleagues from RM Sotheby's will take place next week, on Saturday, November 25, at Motorworld Munich. After last year's enormous success, the automotive world is eagerly awaiting this year's auction in Germany. This year, the Munich auction manager of RM Sotheby's, Marcus Görig, has once again been able to consign some spectacular cars for the auction.

The "Connoisseur Collection" is a collection that impresses with its originality and quality - with the special feature that the majority of the collection is offered without a minimum price/no reserve. Cars such as a Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet A, which is largely preserved in its original 1951 paintwork, or a beautifully restored 1936 BMW 319 two-seater sports convertible will go under the hammer.

In addition, a 1973 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider in the rare original color Nocciola Metallizzato and a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster "Outlaw"will be offered. The highlight of the auction is a 2004 Ferrari Enzo with just 19,600 km on the clock.

Another special feature is the auction of vehicles with a unique history. For example, what is probably the oldest complete conversion by AMG was found: A Mercedes-Benz 230 tail fin, which back in 1971/72 received everything the young AMG company had to offer at the time for over DM 17,000. The Mercedes-Benz 230 SL test car with chassis number 09 was demonstrably ordered by the legendary Daimler head of development Prof. Fritz Nallinger and used as a private car. The last car to go under the hammer is the Mercedes-Benz S 320, which was owned for many years by rock and soul legend Tina Turner.
