On June 29 and 30, 2024, the Munich Sotheby's Real Estate Polo Cup will take place at La Tarde Polo Club in Thann near Holzkirchen.

La Tarde Polo Club is located on the oldest polo field in Bavaria in Thann near Holzkirchen. During the tournament weekend, six teams will compete against each other in six matches. The participants come from Argentina, Brazil, Switzerland, Austria and Germany and play in mixed teams of four. For fans of this traditional equestrian sport, the tournament is a unique opportunity to experience outstanding players and fast polo ponies in southern Germany.

München Sotheby's Immobilien is supporting the Polo Cup as a sponsor for the first time this year. Together with München Sotheby's Immobilien, the Polo Club has put together a great weekend program with exciting polo matches, a great children's program and a food stand with Bavarian delicacies. The program offers entertainment for the whole family.

The event is open to all interested guests and admission is free.

Helena Schoeller and Juan Martin Sarli, the owners of the polo club, want to make the sport of polo accessible to all interested parties with this tournament. The La Tarde Polo Club has set itself the task of bringing the Argentinian polo feeling to Germany. Anyone who would like to learn the fast equestrian sport can take lessons during the summer months. You don't need your own horse, Helena Schoeller and Juan Martin Sarli have brought the trained polo ponies from their own stud farm in Argentina and offer them for hire. At the Munich Sotheby's Real Estate Polo Cup, visitors can get a first touch and feel for this fast and dynamic sport.
